GBIOMAME & AMADAHOME

I am very happy to announce to you that as soon as we came back from Agnronkopé, the following week, Oct. 25-31, 2010, I held a crusade at GBIOMAME. And from November 10 to 14, I held another crusade at AMADAHOME. These two areas are some of the suburbs of   Lome, the capital city of Togo. I’m very glad because these crusades too are very successful ones. Because of a technical fault we could not take good pictures.  During these crusades, God has done many healings and many other wonderful things. There was in total 187 new decisions who received Christ as their Lord and Saviour.  This time we were only two ACM members in collaboration with some local churches. And we could not go with the medical team because of lack of medicines.

During the crusade at AMADAHOME, a man called Joseph testified that he was about to go to the Republic of Benin on Monday night to seek for or to buy a satanic power in order to kill by curse who is threatening him with death. He was drinking in a bar with his friend who would lead him to the place in Benin when suddenly he heard the call that I was making after the message. And he heard a voice saying to him: It is you the one they are calling. Because of that he came to repent and to give his life to Jesus.

A woman called Grace came on Wednesday confessing that she was living in a ghetto drinking alcohol, smoking and taking drugs. She has an illness causing her to urinate on the bed at the age of 28. People laugh at and mock her. She has decided to kill herself but something told her to come to Jesus. Now she’s healed from everything by the power of Jesus-Christ.

Adjoavi, another woman also was very sick. Thursday evening she heard us singing and she felt to come to come to our crusade and see what’s happening. During the altar call, she came forward and she was healed and gave her life to Jesus.

Another woman called Amoessi confessed saying that she had an alliance with a water demon. It comes often to take her under the sea. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour and she was delivered.  During both the two crusades at Gbomame and Amadahome, there were many testimonies. But I cannot tell all in this message. Please, join us; and together let’s glorify God for what He is doing through the ACM evangelistic and humanitarian association. I also thank all our donors who are the veritable power which is pushing us into a victorious ministry to the glory of God. Thank you for all that you are doing to promote the kingdom work through ACM.

Yes, the Lord will certainly reward you. Amen!!

AGNRONKOPE

The ARMY OF CHRIST IN MISSION (ACM), an evangelistic and relief association, in the execution of her program of the year 2010, came to have her seventh (7th) trip in the year to Agnronkope after Baguida, Mikériba, Analène, Yokélé (Kloto), Yopé-Tsiviepé(Prefecture of the Avé) and Kati (P. of Agou).

With the rental bus, we left Lomé on Wednesday Nov. 20, 2010 with 45 evangelists from different churches (Assemblies of God, Friends of Christ, Baptist, Corner Stone and Praise Chapel etc). We arrived at Agnronkope around 5:30 PM. For five good days, these evangelists left their protected home to go and sleep on the ground and in mosquitoes that are carriers of malaria fever. During this rainy season in Togo, there are many mosquitoes in the village.

Agnronkopé is situated about 17 kilometers from the city of Vogan which is the capital town of the prefecture of VO.

During five days, the people of Agnronkopé and its surroundings were blessed with the different services of ACM like giving the light of the Gospel which saves from the reality of the hell.

- The projection of the educational movies, on how to have the authority and the power on the satanic oppressions that destroy lives and that delay the development of the communities.

- The medical assistance and gift of medicines – Detection of the VIH/AIDS.

– The gift of clothes other goods to the orphans and widows and to the other needy.

To begin, pastor YAOVI Kodjo thanked the Lord Jesus Christ for the miracles that he permitted to operate during these five days of campaign. He also asked all new converts to persevere in the biblical teachings and in the prayer of faith in order to experiment the blessings of God and His power on Satan.

On our arrival, we proceeded to a crusade with projection of a film, called THE FIGHT. In the beginning, the village people were afraid of their voodoo priests and would not approach us. But by the grace of the Lord, 13 souls were worn that evening for Christ. On Thursday morning, we organized the house to house campaign in order to explain the gospel of Jesus Christ better to the people. What we noticed during these visits to the homes is that the whole village adores a voodoo called: "Goro voodoo".

Based on the letter of Paul to the Romans, we let them understand that they are interested in seeking for God. But what they found as the result of their research is vain; because the idols cannot lead them to the Living God, who gives peace and life. 25 persons among them believed and gave their life to Christ during that door to door outreach.

In the afternoon we have shared the Gospel by songs, testimonies and preaching  in every suburb, winnng 15 new souls.

During the evening crusade, we mobilized a lot of people who participated. And that evening, we faced challenges. Many charms were thrown against us. But our Lord protected us. Only a girl named Merveille was hurt a little bit. And we prayed on her and she recovered immediately. And by the time our sister recovered, one person among those who are challenging us felled to the ground and it was a great spectacle. Our God manifested His power over our enemies and it was very wonderful. Seeing God's power that evening, many responded to the altar call after the preaching. We recorded 70 adults and 50 children who gave their life to Christ. During this trip we recorded a total of 150 adult converts and more than 200 children who came to Christ.

We noticed that the illnesses that the voodoos inflicted to this village are the madness, the paralysis, the alcoholism etc.

In his opening, the Vice-president of the ACM, the Pasteur AGBOLO John asked for the visitation of the Holy Spirit to pour the divine blessing on the village and on its leaders. Our financial secretary, of Mr. AGOUZOU Richard asked that a climate of peace, mutual forgiveness and understanding reins in the village so that the population of Agnronkopé could benefit from the different services of ACM.

The president of ACM, pastor AZIATO Petro Kwami Elikplim, for his part, reminded the people of the objective of the ACM association; uniting all Christians from all the churches to obey and to work out the Great Commission. Because when Christians neglect this work, the judgment of God will come against the believers as well as the non believers who won't have the opportunity to hear the Good news. Because the Gospel alone constitutes the only means to obtain the forgiveness of the sins and the eternal life by faith. It’s for that reason that Jesus came and died as a sacrifice for sinners.

Petro asked also the population of Agnronkopé to believe and to pray in order to receive all the blessings and the miracles that God will be operating during the program.

The ACM is a multi-denominational association that welcomes Christians of all churches in order to propagate the gospel for the salvation of the lost souls and to promote the socio-economic and physical well being of the populations.

On Saturday, the mobile clinic of ACM led by the Dr Charles TIENTCHEU consulted; treated and gave medicines free of charge to more than 200 people suffering from illness as: infections, eyes problems, worms, the malaria etc.

On Sunday during the church service, we recorded 52 new adult converts and 79 children. We celebrated the Lord and thanked Him for all His kindness toward the population of the Agnronkope village.

And a lot of testimonies have been collected. Such as: The divine healings, the deliverances from enemy's hands and the conversion of the great witch doctor called ADJEODA etc. The repentance of this great voodoo priest made a great noise in the whole prefecture. The other voodoo priests in the village were very unhappy. But what can they do before the Ultimate Power of God?

My brothers, do you see that if we don’t go out to the sinners we are killing them? They are ready to enter the kingdom of God. But who will pay the sacrifice spending his money and his time and his moving from his comfortable home to go to the forest and show them the way which is Jesus? I thank all the Togolese and the American donors who made this trip a successful one. Yes! Your works will never be vain in the Lord. The harvest field is unto the end of the world. Not our country alone; especially where the harvest is reaped. For the moment, Africa is reaped more than any other continent. It means they are not hard to win. Let’s hurry up. A time will come Africa will no longer accept the Gospel. You understand this therefore continue to be blessed in the name our Savior Jesus Christ. ACM is welcoming you for short term missions.

The campaign ended with this Sunday church service held in a building constructed with palm branches. In his sermon, the president of ACM, pastor AZIATO Petro K. Elikplim encouraged the 131 new converts to have confidence in God to overcome the persecutions. An intense prayer in favor of the village directed by the Pasteur AGBOLO John closed the assembly.

Please, could we count on your prayers and contributions again? We are planning to end the year with one more trip in December 1 to 5, 2010. We have in view another strong voodoo village called WOGBA. Please, do not forget us in your prayers.

AGOU-KLONU

In our village trips, ACM encounters many needs.  Following Jesus' example, we often respond to the urgent needs for drinking water, health care, education, clothes and food.  Last Saturday October 9,2010 was the inauguration  day for the well at Agou-Klonou.  The Chief of Agou-Klonou and the population as a whole send their thanks to you and to the church which made possible this great gift to them.

AKATI

We just came back from our trip to the Akati village and I find it important to send you the report. This village has a population of 25000 people. They are mostly Animists but some are  Roman Catholic and Presbyterian church members.  Unfortunately there's no difference between those who call themselves Christians and those who are totally animists. Those "Christians" commit the abominations detestable to the Lord in Deuteronomy 18:9-13, practicing divination, sorcery, interpreting omens, engaging in witchcraft, casting spells.  There are meduims among them and they consult the dead. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. Because unfortunatly they are like those believers that Paul met at Ephesus in Acts 19:1-6. They don't know anything concerning the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our team this time numbered 35 persons who went to the village of Akati.
God is good all the time. He has glorified His own Name again during our outreach program in this Kati village.

This village also is full of strong  juju powers. By the grace of God we disgraced these fearful voodoos and jujus through the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Many people were delivered from these satanic powers and many other were healed from all kinds of sickness and diseases. A voodoo woman dresseed in their white uniform received Christ as her Saviour and Lord during our house to house and street level campaign.  Her believing in Christ has annoyed the fetish priests and they were very angry against us. So at the crusade, many curses were truly thrown against us from these evil men. But all the curses thrown against us were nullified by the power of the Holy Ghost.  The divine protection ensured that none of the group was hurt. In the Name of Jesus, we scattered every evil project against us.  Once again we experience the challenge against the great witch doctors of the village with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord through our hands and prayers, healed many sick persons and and operated miracles. A dead child was brought to life through the prayer of some women in our team during the house to house crusade.

Our medical team also gave good treatment and free medicines to 300 sick persons in the village. This team is composed of professional doctors led by Dr Charles. We also share used clothes and shoes to widows, orphans and the other needy.

The greatest miracle God operated during the program is that, many people, more than 500 persons gave their life to Christ. And there was a great joy in the whole village. There was the visitation of the Holy Spirit and a spiritual revival has began in the village. The king and his notables were very happy about our work and the light of the Gospel we brought to the village because there are too much evil doings in the area like stealing and murder and satanic cursings. He testified that two weeks before our arrival, the prefet of their region was shot with gun on their road.

During this trip we enconter some problems.

- Our generator and the DVD player was spoiled.

- Our video projector could not function bucause of some technical and etectronical disfuntioning. We need to buy new one. On trhis trip we rent another one before we could work in the village.

- The transport dificulties remain unsolved. We need a bus for the ACM T eam.

- some of the team members actually got sick the last day before we came back.

Please pray the Lord for us so that we can find help and solution for all these problems..

On Sunday, we held the first church service under trees because there's no building for the new church. This time we could not get much suport from donors. so we wre not able to build any shelter for them. But we were able to buy two plots of land where the church can be built if the Lord provides.  Because some of the new converts are afraid to be seen under the trees by their family members who started persecuting them so they did not come to the meeting. Among the new converts who respondes to sunday church service under the trees, we counted 322 adults and 200 children.

An onnointed sister called SIKA is the trained pioneer who decided to stay with them ant take care of the them until we come back to baptize them. This brave sister need a montly support. Please pray with her for the leading, the protection and the provision of the Lord.

The ARMY OF CHRIST IN MISSION ‘ACM’ Association is thanking you for your support in prayer that made this trip a successful one.

YOKELE & AGOU-GARE

On Wednesday March 7, 2010 at 3.30 PM, our evangelistic Association: ARMY OF CHRIST IN MISSION (A C M) with the 2 hired buses took the direction to the following villages: YOKELE and AGOU-GARE. We were 45 persons in all.  The buses arrived 5:30 PM at AGOU-GARE and 6 PM at YOKELE. The crusade started that very evening at YOKELE with the opening prayer by the Brother Richard and at AGOU-GARE by Madame Degnigba.

On Thursday March 8, the team received a teaching by Pastor Avougla, on the theme: FAITH IN CHRIST. From 09h to 13h, groups of three persons each were formed to carry the Gospel to the village people from house to house. In 3:00 in the afternoon,, the teams were divided into four small groups each and sent to all the suburbs of the villages to celebrate, sing, dance and play mimes and choreography, and also to share testimonies and the Gospel.

The crusade of Thursday began at 6.15 pm and ended at 10.30 PM. Jesus film was shown, after which a short message was preached by Pastor John AGBOLO. The theme he developed was:  KNOWING THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST.  52 adults and 78 children gave their life to Christ.

On Friday March 9, 2010, the leaders of a near by village called KOPEGAN came and pleaded that we bring the Gospel to them also. So on that Friday, we took all our equipment and went to that village. We did not get a lorry; so we walked five kilometres and arrived very tied to the village. But no body complained, being happy to be able to suffer for Christ sake. That night, a religious film titled: “21 days with the Lord” was shown; and  Pastor Avougla  preached after the film. During the altar call, we counted 102 adults and 96 children who came forward to confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and their Saviour. Among them were the adepts to the voodoos called sakpata, yewe, hebieso, agaien and many others. Some of them confessed publicly that the reason they believe our God is that they throw their most powerful curses against us; but we did not fall down nor die. So that proves to them that our God is the true God.

(PLEASE, PRAY WITH US TO OWN A BUS FOR THIS “ACM” EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION TO SOLVE OUR TRANSPORT DIFICULTIES).

Since we did not have money to build temples for the villages, and because we were not prepared to preach in that particular village (KOPEGAN), we commit all the souls we won to the good care of the Assemblies of God Church.

On Sunday March 10, 2010, in the morning while some of the team members continued to take the Gospel from house to house, the others were serving together with our MOBILE CLINIC directed by Doctor Charles. They shared and prayed for the patients before and after the treatment. This our medical team was a great hope to many people who are suffering from divers sicknesses and diseases (Malaria, stomach worms, waist and joints pains,  ulcers, typhoid fever, eye diseases, HIV/AIDS etc…)

Te medical team was hosted in an almost abandoned health centre in the village.

352 patients were consulted, treated and were given medicines free of charge.

We also share used clothes, shoes, food and school items to the widows, orphans and all the needy.

In the Saturday evening, the crusade went on as usual at YOKELE. Many souls were won again and we prayed for healing and other miracles. Many testimonies were given and the Lord was glorified.

At Agou-Gare, the same challenges and victory went on. A woman, who never likes to hear or to even see the Pentecostal preacher, did challenge the group who went to her house. She did every bad thing against the group who went to her house; just in order to drive them away; but the brothers talked to her with love and respect. So she calmed down and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour.

On Sunday March 10, 2010, we led the new saved souls to the Assemblies of God church where we celebrate the church service with them for the first time.

32 of them came to the church and others went to other churches of their preference. We taught  them, prayed with them and encouraged them to persevere in walking with Jesus; and to continue attending the church meetings in order to learn to know the Lord better and to serve Him better.

After the church, we gave some gifts in clothing and to the members. From there we took our lunch, joined the buses and came back to our families in LOME.

To God Be The Glory!

 ANALENE/MIKERIBA/BAGUIDA

Last year, we reached ten villages with the Gospel. Our plan for the year 2010 is to train  more workers whom we will send to lead the churches that the Lord will help us to plant during the year.

I also wanted to inform you that the trips of our ARMY OF CHRIST IN MISSION (ACM), came on exactely from this January 27 to 31,2010. We form two groups. The first which is our women's group  named: ACM-FACOVI went to two villages called ANALENE and  MIKERIBA.They expecially reached widows and orphans in the two villages. They preached the good news to them, listened to their problerms, prayed with them and counseled with them. After that they shared to them uses clothes, uses shoes, food and school items. The second group went to BAGUIDA to help a broken church to reestablish. We peached, shew Jesus film and prayed for delivrance and miracles. The two groups moved to these three villages at a time in the same week of January 27 to 31,2010.

The current equipments we have are no more responding to the mission works. They are old and need to be renewed include the need of a bus.
